BLITZWING Character description from package "tech spec": Even by Decepticon standards, Blitzwing is totally insane. He's got three distinct personalities packed into his cyberium-steel chassis, and he argues with himself almost as often as he argues with other Decepticons. The only person he listens to without interrupting is Megatron, because all three of his personalities are terrified of the Decepticon commander. He carries a superheater cannon and a hyperfrost emitter to burn or freeze his enemies. Galactic Powers and Abilities: Other appearances: The original Blitzwing was released in 1985 and (along with Astrotrain) is one of the two original and first ever Decepticon Triple Changers. As popular of a character as he was back in the G1 days, it's surprising that Blitzwing has made no other appearances in all of the Transformers Universe (aside from the 1987 decoy.) Bibliography of significant appearances: First appearance (presumably with a) cybertron alternate mode (or modes?) was in the Animated Movie Intro: Transform and Roll Out. He had a brief cameo appearance talking to Lockdown in episode 4 Thrill of the Hunt. Along with his partner in crime, Lugnut, Blitzwing finally showed up and returned to prominance in episode 8 " Lost and Found" Among core Decepticon characters Blitzwing plays a part most subsequent episodes but is especially prominent in Megatron Rising part 1 and part 2, 16 Mission Accomplished, 18 Velocity, 19 Rise of the Constructicons, 24 Sari, No One's Home, 25 and 26 A Bridge Too Close parts 1 and part 2. |
