Thundercracker

Afilliation: Decepticon
Function: Warrior

First cartoon appearance: Season 1: More Than Meets The Eye part 1

First comic appearance: War Within (Dreamwave) #1

Profile: Existence on Cybertron meant very little to Thundercracker until Megatron appeared. Thundercracker rallied around the words of this great campaigner. He followed closely the triumphs of Megatron in the gladiator arenas. Thundercracker felt held back under the Autobot regime, and wished for a way out. Megatron was his opportunity and calling. Recruited to the Decepticon cause by Megatron himself and assigned to the elite Seeker squadron under Starscream, Thundercracker proved himself to be a deadly and effective warrior, and quickly rose to the top of Megatron's elite warriors. He is often partnered with the sneaky Skywarp, and commanded by the double-crossing Starscream. Thundercracker doesn't trust either of them, his loyalty rests squarely with Megatron. Working alongside fellow Seeker Skywarp, he attacked and destroyed the Autobot stronghold at Altihex, and nearly succeeded in destroying Protihex as well.

Abilities: Even at low altitudes and speeds, he is able to force super-compressed air pulses through his engine intakes, giving him a burst of acceleration and generating a focused sonic boom that can shatter reinforced glass and deafen unprotected audio receptors. He is further able to modulate his sonic booms to affect the sensory response processors of enemy targets, causing panic and fear. He possesses above average strength and speed. He was trained for some time under the Autobots peacekeeping force. Also is able to fly in either mode.

Weaknesses: Thundercracker is not very intelligent, therefore he is easily tricked in battle. His loyalty to Megatron often puts him in dangerous situations that others would not venture.
