Other Appearances: Although presumably different individuals, there was another RED ALERT character in the Transformers Universe. A G1 Autobot security officer released in 1985, friend and confidant to the G1 fire engine, Inferno. Now that we've received a little further clarification in the "Worlds Collide" storyline of the TF:Armada comics, it can be speculated that this Armada Red Alert is in fact the same individual, but of the alternate (Armada) dimension. I guess your view may depend largely on where you see the Armada storyline fitting into the TF Universe. Is it a 'separate dimension' to the one we grew up with? Or just a different group of characters with similar names in a slightly different time? I tend to lean more to the latter. There is also the Powerlinx version of Red Alert released in 2003. Longarm's first comic appearance: Armada #1 |
