1991 Transformers - Japanese - Return of Convoy and European Action Masters

It was a bleak year for American Transformers fans, being the first time ever that no new toys were released since the line's inception. But don't dispair! If you thought G1 was over, think again! Our friends on either side of the 'ponds' filled in nicely with the continuation of Action Masters in Europe and the Return of Optimus Prime (Convoy) in Japan. No shows for either series, one and only a few manga comics in Japan. The year included rare and more popular Action Master Elites which had the ability to transform! (well, sort of "transform!") and Star Convoy. So sit back, relax and enjoy what's left of Generation One!
